She charted 8 times between 1969 and 1973 on the U.S. country charts, with "Mama, I Won't Be Wearing a Ring" and "Sugarman" both coming in at #37 (in 1970 and 1973 respectively). Her cover of Dusty Springfield's "Son of a Preacher Man" landed at #40 in 1969. She made multiple appearances on country music programs such as Hee Haw and guest appearances on The Mike Douglas Show, Wilbourn Brothers Show, Bill Anderson Show, Del Reeves Show, and The Ralph Emery Show.
