Patrick Gallois

French flutist and conductor, born 1956, Linselles, France. He was a pupil of Jean-Pierre Rampal. Gallois won the Premier Prix at the Paris Conservatoire at the age of 19. Later he become principle flute of the Orchestre National De France, then began a solo career in 1984. Gallois has given first performances of works by Eric Tanguy, Aulis Sallinen, Thanos Mikroutsikos, Kryštof Mařatka, Marcel Landowski and Renaud Gagneux.
