Driven by American songwriter and novelist Theo Hakola, Passion Fodder formed from the ashes of post-punk band Orchestre Rouge in 1984. They released fived albums on Barclay/Beggars Banquet before calling it a day in 1991. Theo Hakola continued to work with violinist Bénédicte Villain and has now recorded five solo albums.
