Swedish progressive/avantgarde death metal band based in Finspång/Örebro/Nyköping.
Pan.Thy.Monium was formed in 1990 and became well known for their complex and progressive song structures and weird use of different sounds and styles. Their lyrics tell the story about the god Raagoonshinnaah. The group disbanded in 1996 after the release of [r=383406], which features the death of Raagoonshinnaah. The possibility of a reunion was announced, but it never happened so far. In 2001 Dan Swanö revived his ideas for Pan.Thy.Monium in his Tintin intonation project Karaboudjan.
The members were:
Winter (Benny Larsson) - Drums, percussion, violin
Mourning (Robert Ivarsson) - Rhythm guitar
Day DiSyraah (Dan Swanö) - Bass, keyboards, effects
Derelict (Robert Karlsson) - Vocals
Aag (Dag Swanö) - Lead guitar, organ, baritone saxophone
