Cuban singer and bandleader from Santiago de Cuba born in 1928 and died August 27, 1982. He is attributed to have created the musical form "Pilón". He founded "Los Modernistas de Pacho" in 1952, with José A. Castañeda. They would change their name when moving to Havana to Los Bocucos.
