[b]Oružjem Protivu Otmičara[/b] ("[b]OPO[/b]") was created in 1994. as adequate answer to hardcore, trash music and turbo-folk singers, which were main music styles in Yugoslavia at that time. First line-up of the band, Dragana, Dada, Darko (now drummer in Partibrejkers) and Nikola recorded their first album in Belgrade for only 40 hours. But, in only two weeks this album became major success and tracks "Moja soba", "Izabela", "Vremojed" i "Ptica" became big hits. Even more success band achieved with their second album [i]Barbie Cue[/i] (1996.) and a cover of [a=Zana]'s track "Mladiću Moj". To round up their success, OPO recorded [i]Barbie Mix[/i] album, which contains remixes of tracks from Barbie Cue. Third album [i]Komadić koji nedostaje[/i] was released in 1999. during NATO bombing of Serbia and so it got lost, and band members were uninterested for further plazing, so the band broke up. In 2002. Nikola formed another line-up, together with female vocalist Ivana. Thez recorded album [i]Maštoplov[/i] and soon band broke up again... But, at the end of 2004. Nikola formed new line-up again (Dunja - drums, Reka - vocals, Marko - bass, Nikola - guitar).
