Optimistid – Estonian beat music band that was active in 1965–1969. The band started in 1965, using the name Reval, which was changed in 1966 as it was inappropriate for the Soviet Union authorities. The main part of the band's repertoire was made up of covers of English-language hit songs. Among the original songs written by the band, the best known is "Ülle" (c.1966, originally "Beautiful"; ERR recording from 1969).
