    Kent "Omar" Dykes is an American blues singer and guitar player, based in Austin, Texas. He was born 1950 in McComb, Mississippi, USA. He formed the original Omar And The Howlers in Hattiesburg, Miss. in 1973, but relocated to Austin three years later.
