Olivia Hime

Olivia Hime (Rio de Janeiro, June 25, 1943) is a Brazilian singer and songwriter. Early in her career, she joined with Miúcha and Telma Costa, a vocal group that acted in concert Vinicius de Moraes and Tom Jobim. In 1977, she produced the Francis Hime's LP, Passaredo. Then began participating in records and shows with the composer and composed herself as well. In 2000, she founded with Kati Almeida Braga, the label "Biscoito Fino", where she is artistic director. Olivia is the daughter of Cicero Leuenroth (1907-1972), one of the pioneers of advertising in Brazil, and grandniece of the anarchist militant Edgard Leuenroth. Since 1969, she is married to the pianist and composer Francis Hime, her partner in the authorship of several songs. The couple has three daughters - Mary, Jane and Louis - and three granddaughters.
