Swedish singer, songwriter and guitarist, born January 20, 1946 on Skälby farm in Kalmar, died February 6, 2020 in Tunby in Smedstorps parish outside Tomelilla. Magnell studied at Lund University, and between 1970-1971 at the Journalist High School in Gothenburg. As early as in high school he had begun to act as a troubadour. Eventually, he began writing his own songs in the tracks of the 1960s Vision Fair, influenced by early 1960s and contemporary American singer / songwriters.
