French Electro House project formed in 2008 by Electro House producer [a=Just Uman] and Pop producer [a=Nicolas Carel].
The group is named after the Ocean Drive avenue in South Beach, Miami, USA where Carel and Uman met by change in a nightclub.
They released a first song on Myspace, which was picked up by then-amateur French female [a=DJ Oriska], who contacted them to collaborate and improve the song. Released in 2009, the single [m=448861] had quite a success in France, Belgium and Switzerland. After 1 album and 3 following singles, Oriska left the group to focus on her solo career.
In 2010, Ocean Drive re-recorded the song "Some People" with a new singer, [a=Aylar], to access the UK market.
In 2012, the group is now fronted by long-time male vocalist & songwriter [a=Gilles Luka] (aka [a=Gilles Fahy]) - former leader of French project Galleon - joined by new recruits, young female vocalist Solenn-Océane and experienced French DJ Maeva Carter. However, at the end of 2012, Maeva has left the group.
