Nowy Horyzont - a music group from Poland, founded in 1984 in Katowice, on the ruins of the punk band Strefa Niebezpieczna. The beginning of the 1990s saw further development and evolution of the band's musical interests. This is a period of fascination with the possibilities of synthesizers, samplers and computers. At that time, the first demo tape "Nowy Horyzont" (1992) was created. The sound of the band becomes heavy and rough, the era of industrial music begins, in which the band fits perfectly. The founder and leader of the formation was Bogdan "Żaba" Lewandowski. In the initial stage of the group's activity, many musicians from Katowice passed through it. Ultimately, the core of the team consisted of Bogdan Lewandowski and Adam Białoń. In 2000, the Nowy Horyzont ensemble ends its activity. In February 2009, the leader and founder, Bogdan "Żaba" Lewandowski, died a tragic death.
