Noel Elmowy is an Australian jazz-fusion pianist. Living in London in 1981-82 he practiced as a dentist whilst playing in the local music scene, often performing jazz, funk and Latin. He returned to Australia in 1982 and launched a Latin-jazz band 'Espirito' of whom many musicians contributed to his album 'Feelin' Good'; contributions on the album range from Gerald Albright, Doug Williams, Steve Gadd, Chad Wackerman, Land Richards, Leon Gaer.
He has supported Dizzy Gillespie and toured with Al Jarreau. Worked as musical director for Andrew Oh and has recorded for musicians such as Lulo Reinhardt. Noel performed and arranged the Australia Day closing version of 'I Still Call Australia Home' in Darling Harbour, with Chris Lloyds and Andrew Oh performing, Prince Charles was in attendance.
