Nicolas Meier is a Swiss musician currently based in United Kingdom. Primarily a guitarist, Meier had extensively studied jazz and after the end of enrollment at the Berklee College of Music he formed his own group with which he regularly toured around Europe where he got most reputation. Throughout the tours and the rest of career, he had chance to work with the likes of Trilok Gurtu, Elvin Jones and Bill Evans. Meier creates music that is versatile but is often exploring world music, particularly middle-eastern music, but also rock with some flamenco and latin style to it.
