From age 17, worked with different bands and gigged around London singing backing vocals & playing additional instruments - guitar, keyboards, percussion etc. In the early 90s a demo sent to F-Beat / Demon Records resulted in her first solo record deal. Went on to form Mandalay with Saul Freeman when FBeat folded in 1994.
