A 4-piece band from John O'Groats, Scotland. Neon Waltz consist of Jordan Shearer, Darren Coghill, and brothers Jamie & Kevin Swanson. Hailing from the northern tip of mainland Scotland, Neon Waltz are a four-piece indie band with a rich, melodic sound calling to mind their '60s influenced forebears. Formed in the remote region of Caithness in early 2013, the young group patiently honed its robust sound in a shared cottage, gigging locally and recording a set of demos that drew interest from former Oasis manager Marcus Russell. The band’s debut album ‘Strange Hymns’ was released in 2017 to critical acclaim and was followed up by the similarly lauded ‘Bring Me To Light’ and ‘Huna’ EPs. During this time, Neon Waltz toured extensively throughout the British Isles, leading to sell out shows (including Glasgow’s iconic King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut) and landing support slots with such artists as Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, The Coral and DMA’s.
