German Techno group.
This Pirmasens-based duo (area now known as Südwestpfalz, near the French border) achieved a bit of notoriety based upon the cover of their first single, God And Evil, which features a suggestive photo of Pope John Paul II being "assisted" by an altar boy. Their next single, Tekno La Droga, is still regarded as one of the jewels in the crown of German techno. They released their last single, Dance You Bastards!, before forming the hardcore crossover band, Headcrash. For unknown reasons, Friedrich Weber committed suicide during the recording of Headcrash's second album, Direction of Correctness, in December 1993.
