Nangijala

About

The Scandinavian based project Nangijala was created in the early 2008. Their soundscape goes from deep progressive to atmospheric minimal with a touch of Nordic forest sounds. Jacob Erikson and Johan Björklund both have musical background in drums, piano and sound design. Johan started his music quest in his teenage years with recording sounds to tapes and later started with computers to manipulate sounds. Jacob started his quest in the early years playing drums, guitar and later played in different kinds of bands. He also picked up some other instrument and sound design he could get his hands on. Jacob and Johan are now on an experimental quest together into the deep space of music, always up for new techniques to manipulate and record sounds.
