American guitarist, singer, whistler & bandleader. Born 27 November 1912 in California, USA. Died 11 June 1997 in Sherman Oaks, California, USA. Although he was a trianed violinist and guitarist, whistling became Marcellino's calling card, effectively employed in TV ads, numbers written for Disney's 'Mickey Mouse Club' as well as motion pictures. Marcellino also led a combo on Art Linkletter’s TV The Linkletter Show and served as musical director for 19 years.
