Munich Swing Stars

The band was founded in early 2004 by vibraphonist [a687805] together with [a1454754] (piano) and [a1853751] (bass). Initially, the band performed in a quartet with drummer [a2322630]. At the beginning of 2005, [a1834337] (clarinet) and [a1926702] (drums) joined. Due to the sudden death of Charly Höllering in May 2009, the Munich Swing Stars have continued to play in a quintet with [a979899] (clarinet and tenor saxophone) since July 2009
