Moonalice was formed in 2007. It is made up of Roger McNamee rhythm guitar, vocals, bass), John Molo (drums, vocals), Pete Sears (bass, keyboards, guitars, vocals), Barry Sless ( lead guitar, pedal steel guitar, bass. They play music from various genres and a mix of original and covered material. [1] Guitarist G.E. Smith was with the group from 2007 until he left in 2009. [2]

The group has collaborated with and included in their live line up Lester Chambers & Dylan Chambers of The New Chambers Brothers and TheT Sisters. Both acts were added to the line up for the band's 2019 tour. With the additions, they emerged in 2020 as Full Moonalice. [2]
