    American musician, singer, conductor and record producer. Miller began his musical career as a player of the oboe & English horn. He was head of A&R for both Mercury Records and Columbia Records. Popular for his NBC's TV Show Sing Along with Mitch (1961-1964). Born July 04, 1911 in Rochester, New York. Died July 31, 2010 in New York City, New York. Miller was a graduate of the Eastman School of Music and a classically trained oboist.
