Puerto Rican singer/guitarist Millo Torres began studying music at a very young age, joining different bands while attending Boston University, later, graduating from Berklee College of Music. When the talented musician returned to his native country he formed a Latin ska/reggae band called El Tercer Planeta, teaming up with bassist Tinci Moreno, keyboardist Javier Bermudo, guitarist Carlos Zubrzychi, percussionist Carlos Maldonado, and drummer Rigo Collazo. The band's debut album was called Soñando Realidad, followed by 1999's Caminando. That same year, Millo Torres y el Tercer Planeta went on tour, playing for the first time in the U.S.
