Mikko Tarmia

Video game composer from Mikkeli, Finland. Mikko Tarmia is a composer from Finland, best known for his dark scores in critically acclaimed survival horror games developed by Frictional Games. With a background in both classical and electronic music, Mikko has been composing music for nearly three decades. Since pursuing his interest in making music for games, Mikko has contributed music for several well known titles such as SOMA, Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Penumbra series. Mikko also runs an independent music label called [l=The Sound of Fiction] which specialises in bringing film and video game music to its fans. The label has also released soundtrack albums for the games developed by Frictional Games.
