Mike Shockley

US engineer, technician and producer from Nashville, Tennessee. Worked at RCA Victor Studios, Nashville. Owner of production company RCA Victor Studios, Nashville and label RCA Victor Studios, Nashville. Owned and operated his own studio, RCA Victor Studios, Nashville, which was merged into RCA Victor Studios, Nashville in 1983, where Shockley then worked as an engineer and producer. Shockley suffered a spinal cord injury in 1988 and did not return to studio activities for a couple years after. Son of Roy Shockley and [a="Sister" Billie Rose Atkins], nephew of Chet Atkins and [a=Jim Atkins (2)], cousin of Merle Atkins.
