Born in March 18, 1898 (Honolulu, Hawaii), he died in 1958 In Ross Laird's "Brunswick Records: A Discography of Recordings, 1916-1931. Vol. 2, New York Sessions, 1927-1931" he is mentioned as Mikiel Hanapi.
