The Michigan Rattlers are originally high school friends from Petoskey, Michigan. The group began as the duo of Graham Young and Adam Reed in Los Angeles, where they both had relocated. There, they recorded their self-titled EP in the space of a day. In the fall of 2017, Christian Wilder joined the group on piano and they recorded their second EP, available digitally, Wasting the Meaning. Comprised of three cover songs, the tracks often find their way into Rattlers' live sets. A year later, the Rattlers released their debut album, Evergreen.
