    Médéric Nébinger has released his first EP on Rave Age Records in 1991 after starting as A&R for a advertising agency (Slad). He creates "Pumpking Records" in 1992 in Paris (distributed by PIAS) along with Eric Chedeville (Co-founder of Crydamoure). In 1995, he goes to New York, where he creates a new label (Déjà Vous) and releases his first album "Boogie Dawn" on Twisted America Records in 1998 under his alias Funky Derrick (classified N°1 on US billboard).
