* 30. März 1950 in Bleidenstadt; † 27. November 2010 in Berlin In 1975 Matuschek installed his own recording studio in Wiesbaden and produced audio play cassettes for children. In the 80s he worked with Michael Holm and Chris Norman. In 1989 his wife left, after which Mathou created the song "You Never Walk Alone", which was dedicated to his sons; in 1992 the song was chosen as the title melody for a German TV series. On 27. November 2010, Mathou died after a short serious illness.
