Marky Ramone & The Speedkings

About

Started in 2000 as Marky Ramone Group after Nick CQ Cooper met Marky Ramone while they were with their previous bands (The Buckweeds! and Marky Ramone And The Intruders respectively). Their first recording was on a Ramones tribute compilation. In 2001 they changed their name to Marky Ramone & The Speedkings due to legal issues and released a handful of singles and an album. They broke up in 2004 due to the band not being able to tour as often as they would like due to Marky's schedule.
