Mark Lanegan (November 25, 1964, Ellensburg, Washington, U.S. – February 22, 2022, Killarney, Ireland) was an American singer, songwriter, author, and musician.
Lanegan began his musical career in 1984 as the frontman of the psychedelic grunge band Screaming Trees. Following the end of Screaming Trees, he became a frequent collaborator of Queens Of The Stone Age.
Lanegan also collaborated with various artists throughout his career, including Kurt Cobain, Isobel Campbell, Moby, [a=Unkle], [a=Soulsavers] and Not Waving.
