Marco Beelen started his career as producer under the name DJ Marco Bailey. He first produced trance tracks for labels as [l=Dance Opera] and [l=Bonzai Records]. Around 1998 he started to make techno records, and used Marco Bailey as artist name on his records.
In 2002 he started his own techno label [l=MB Elektronics], and in 2017 a new label project called [l=Materia]. With the renassiance of vinyl culture, he created a sub label called [l=Fundaments] with Tom Hades (alias [a=Sigvard]), releasing colorful vinyls. In 2023 he founded a new label again called [l=Elektronik Zoo Sounds] with deeper kinds of techno.
Also a founder of [l=Pornographic Recordings] and [l=Session Recordings].
