He was also composer of many soundtrack for movies, especially of genre “Spaghetti western” and he was a "pioneer" in Italy of the electronic music.
His father was a music professor specialized in the Oboe who also played in orchestras.
He has a son, Pierluigi Giombini, known as one of the most famous composer of "italo disco" on '80s.
