Manny Charlton was a Spanish-born, Scottish guitarist and producer, born 25 July 1941 in La Linea east of Gibraltar (Cádiz), Andalucia in Spain. He moved with his parents to UK already in 1943, and died on July 5, 2022 in Texas where he'd relocated some 30 years ealier. Manny Charlton was a founding member of the Scottish (Dunfermline) hard rock band Nazareth, and was their lead guitarist from 1968 to 1990. He also produced their albums from the 1975 hit album Hair of the Dog.
