When talking about German Drum&Bass from the nineties, it is almost impossible not to mention the name Makai. Within a short period of time, this production outfit hailing from a small town called Hanau took the local scene by storm, and managed to convert tastemakers from the motherland of Jungle to their minimalist and hard-as-nails sound.
