Mahogany Brain

Underground French rock/avantgarde band formed in Paris in 1970 around Michel Bulteau and Patrick Geoffrois. Soon after their one and only gig at Théâtre du Lucernaire in Paris, a first album "With (Junk-Saucepan) When (Spoon-Trigger)" was recorded at Gill's Club with other musicians, almost live, on December 15th, 1970. After being edited and mixed, the album was release in 1971 by [l=Futura Records (2)] in small quantities. A second album, "Smooth Sick Light", was recorded in an afternoon on June 1972 but was only released in 1976 by [l=Pôle Records]. After a 30-year period, and the death of Patrick Geoffrois in New York in 1994, a third and final album, "Some Cocktail Suggestions", was release in 2005 by [l=Fractal Records (2)] which consist mainly of recut and reworked material from the two previous albums sessions.
