Magic Lady
From Detroit, Magic Lady started as a female trio & later became a duo. The group formed by Linda Stokes and her husband Michael Stokes. They served as background vocalists for Enchantment, Bob Seger, Keith Barrow and [a=Soul Searchers].
In 1982 Linda Stokes, Jackie Steele and Kimberly Ball released 'Hot 'n'Sassy' on A&M. The single 'Red hot Stuff' was an R&B hit in the USA and 'Hold Tight' became a cult UK soul track.
