Started her career in the early 1970s with blues/funk band Cado Belle the Glasgow-born singer enjoyed international success working with Mike Oldfield until 1984. Since 1989 has worked as a solo artist recording pop, folk, ambient and acappella works, taking part in many other pop/ambient projects.
In 1996 dance remixes of singles from the album Elena were released under an alias MR or M.R., with remixed produced mostly by JPO & Beam.
The hit "Everytime We Touch" was remixed and covered by other dance singers from Lacara and Cascada from 2002 until today.
Latest album "Past Present Future" entered the German charts in 2021
