Recorded and toured with Sly & The Family Stone, Parliament–Funkadelic, and was an original member of Brides Of Funkenstein with Dawn Silva1978–1979.
In 1978, with Dawn, released the successful [m19717] album. The Bride's first single release on Atlantic Records, "Disco To Go", sold over five hundred thousand units, and was certified Gold.
She went on to work with the Talking Heads, Namie Amuro, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Mick Jagger, Masayoshi Takanaka, Stevie Nicks, George Michael, Bette Midler, Don Henley, Brandon Flowers, Elton John, and [a=Sheila E]. Co-founder of Elevate Hope Foundation & Elevate Oakland with Sheila E.
