Psychedelic indie rock band from Nottingham, England.
Sean Cook, Jon Mattock and Mike Mooney were members of Spiritualized until that group's leader Jason Pierce dissolved the lineup in 1999. The trio quickly decided to form a new band. They kept the spaced-out psychedelic soul sound of their previous incarnation, but blended it with old American soul and a '60s garage sound. The group released two albums and a handful of singles before disbanding in 2002.
