Lucy Street

About

Swedish pop trio consisting of Johanna Lidén, Karolina Dahlman and Malin Sjöquist. The band name was inspired by the 1960s TV series Lucy Show, formed in 1999 in collaboration with songwriter Jörgen Elofsson, disbanded in 2001. They only had one big hit, "Girl Next Door". After an intensive launch in the Nordic countries and the record company's repeated changes in plans for the European launch, as well as different wishes about the direction of the continued work, Lidén chose to leave the group to continue her studies, after which the group disbanded in 2001. The other two members continued to collaborate as a duo for a year under the name Syko, before also closing down the business.
