Lucio Fulci

An Italian filmmaker born in Rome on June 17, 1927. He died on March 14, 1996 from complications due to diabetes.

He directed over 50 films, covering nearly all genres such as comedies, westerns, historical dramas, action/crime films, family films, science fiction and fantasy films. But he's most well known for his "giallo" films (or violent thrillers), and his gory horror films. He had two daughters, Antonella Fulci and Camilla Fulci.
