Lovemaker is a hard/glam rock band from New York, New York, that was formed in 1990. The band split up in 1996. Lovemaker was an early to mid-90s glam band that played extensively in the clubs of New York City and the surrounding areas. The band was heavily influenced by the sound and feel of early KISS as well as early glam rock acts from the 70s. The band released three demo tapes, then released a three song cd prior to breaking up. Upon breaking up, singer Zane Fix formed another very similar sounding band called Starr that released one cd in 1998. While Lovemaker featured many drummers over the years, Guitarist/Vocalist Zane Fix and Bassist Kriss Teen were in the band from the beginning to the end.
