Norteño group formed in 1978 in Nuevo León, Monterrey, Mexico.
In the beginning, the group mostly played in street fairs, parties, and other events. It wasn't until 1981 when [l=Discos DLV] signed them for a record deal. They became International stars in 1983 with their hit song, "Mi Casa Nueva", which went gold in Mexico. The song "Mi Casa Nueva" is actually a cover, as the legendary norteño group Los Alegres De Terán were the first ones who performed the song.
In 1993, [a=Lalo Mora] left the group to become a solo artist. The risk was worth it as he became very popular among the Mexican and Mexican-American community.
