Mexican folk band founded in 1966 in Ciudad de México, to play Mexican and South American folk music. In 1970 they found "La Peña de los Folkloristas" to spread the new "protesta" songs created those years. More than 40 people have played on the band through these years: José Avila, Rubén Ortiz, Adrián Nieto, Jas Reuter, Leonor Lara, René Villanueva, Gerardo Tamez, Maria Elena Torres, Olga Alanís...
