Simbi Ajikawo is better known as Little Simz (formerly Lil Simz). As an actress, she had a featured role in the first Netflix-released series (third series, overall) of London-based street drama "Top Boy" (2019), alongside former vocalist Ashley Walters (aka Asher D).
Her fourth album, "Grey Area" (2019), was shortlisted for the [url=https://www.discogs.com/lists/Mercury-Music-Prize-shortlist-2019-28th-year/527274]Mercury Prize (2019)[/url], as was her fifth album, "Sometimes I Might Be Introvert" (2021), which was shortlisted for the [url=https://www.discogs.com/lists/Mercury-Music-Prize-shortlist-2021-30th-year/821818]Mercury Prize (2022)[/url], and for which she won.
In February 2022 she also took the 'Best New Artist' award at the [url=https://www.discogs.com/label/810027-BRIT-Awards-Ltd]Brit Awards[/url].
