Writer, composer, and actor; born January 16, 1980, Lin-Manuel Miranda is best known as the writer of the popular plays such as 'Hamilton', which he plays Alexander Hamilton, and 'In the Heights', where he plays the character Usnavi. He also wrote the play 'Bring it On', and a short play '21 Chump Street'. Miranda has won a Pulitzer Prize, three Tony Awards, two Grammys, and an Emmy. Miranda is the writer of an unaired Cantina Song for The Force Awakens, a composer for the Disney movie, Moana, and a guest star on many television shows, such as Modern Family. He is also known as 'Old Man Miranda'.
