Letter Kills

Letter Kills was a post-hardcore/alternative rock band from Temecula, California, USA, which formed in August of 2002. Letter Kills released their 3-track self-titled, debut EP ('Letter Kills') in 2003 before signing to Island Records. On Island Records Letter Kills released their only -- and debut -- full-length album, 'The Bridge', on July 2nd, 2004. They toured the United States with Story of the Year as part of the Nintendo Fusion Tour, in addition to opening for The Used on the Van's Warped Tour in the winter of 2005. While recording their sophomore album, guitarist Dustin Lovelis left the band to form The Fling, and the band soon broke up in 2006. Letter Kills cited the cause of their breakup as lack of artistic freedom with their label.
