Pioneering Zimbabwean hip-hop duo from Harare, Zimbabwe. Founded in 1985 and comprised of Qwela Tha Brainchild (n.k.a. Metaphysics and MC Tel-A-Rhyme (n.k.a. [a=Terrie Gunz], performing with lyrics in English. The group were featured in the March 1990 issue (Vol. 3, No.2) of [url=https://www.discogs.com/label/498381-The-Source-7]The Source Magazine[/url] in the United States as the first African hip-hop group to feature in the magazine.
