Lee Shot Williams

Blues and soul singer, born May 21, 1938, Lexington, Mississippi, USA. Williams moved to Chicago in the mid-1950s, and made his first recordings there in 1962. After "I Like Your Style" was a regional hit in 1969, he became a fixture on the Southern soul circuit, moving back south in 1983.
